Barite is a mineral of chemical formula consisting of barium sulfate (BaSO4). It
is used in paint, plastic, paper and pharmaceutical industries due to its weight, non-corrosive and absorbing acid-resistant and harmful radiation.
Gülmer produces Barite in two main categories: Extra White and Standard Barite. Under these categories, we produce many different particle size products, mainly for the paint industry. Gülmer has the production of thin and very white Anatolian gypsum for the coating industry, and with the work of the Research and Development department, Gülmer has emerged with new functional mineral gypsum.
Special production can be made for each particle size with a capacity of 5.000 tons / year.
